For a fee, Interhome provides a comprehensive care-taker service for your holiday property. This fee varies depending on the country, region and type of services. In accordance with the respective contract, the annual Interhome processing fee and any administrative charges will be deducted from the agreed rent.
Important components of each type of contract include:
- Regular payments of rental income: These will be made monthly or quarterly, depending on the agreement made. Interhome will keep you up to date about current bookings.
- 50 percent of rent reimbursed if a booking is cancelled 28 days or less before the planned arrival. We will make the reimbursement to you as long as the customer made a down payment to confirm the reservation, no other booking has been made for the property in the same period and the property has not been occupied by the owners themselves.
- Self-occupancy free of charge, as long as standing reservations are honoured.
- Acceptance of last-minute bookings (optional): this includes reservations made less than a week before arrival, with a 33% price reduction for the first week on the contract rate, including short stays (reservations for at least three nights).
Professional attention for your guests on-site from an Interhome service office:
The process of welcoming customers into your property runs more smoothly the better it is prepared. We will welcome your guests at our Interhome service office on site, without any trouble on your part. We can offer prompt solutions to any problems that may occur during their stay. When the season is over we will thoroughly check your holiday home and write down a report with suggestions for possible improvement and a list of all necessary repairs. All these services are covered by the administration charge.
Between bookings, Interhome will prepare your holiday home for the next booking at a time that suits you. We can carry out related work such as cleaning the house and outbuildings at the beginning or end of the season, or laundry, for you. This will be billed separately. Of course you can also opt to do all cleaning work yourself, or have it done by your representative. With this option you would incur no costs. All these tasks can be done by the “key holder”. This function can be carried out by Interhome, your representative, or by you yourself, as you prefer.
